Everything matters in life. We are constantly being shaped or formed by people, events, activities, and circumstances. Our family, friends, coworkers, and even people we meet momentarily form us.

Everything matters in formation and everything shapes us. We don't have a choice on whether we will be formed, but we do have a choice in what we are formed by. We can choose to be formed by Jesus as he shapes us in and for love.

The Formative Path helps us to be formed by Jesus. As we take steps on that path, we become more open to God's loving formation of our lives.. You are invited to that path. You are invited to be formed by God through Jesus.

In the fall of 2024, St. Paul United Methodist Church in Bloomington, Indiana started down this path. They walked down this path through sermons, reflection sheets, and blog posts here and on http:/www.davidmullends.com, allowing Jesus to form them.
